PRESS RELEASE:-USAID Funded Community, Family and Youth Resilience Program Commencing Youth Service Eligibility Tool (YSET) Assessments in Communities
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded Community, Family and Youth Resilience (CFYR) program supports family networks, communities, service providers and government agencies to implement successful approaches to reduce and prevent youth violence and increase opportunities for youth in Saint Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis and Guyana.
The Youth Service Eligibility Tool (YSET) Assessment will be conducted by the Central Statistics Office to help identify potential beneficiaries of the Family Support Service that will be provided with support from the CFYR program.
Family Support Service activities will be provided in areas of Castries Central, Dennery, Soufriere, Anse La Ray and Vieux Fort, having received approval from the Government of St. Lucia to work in these communities.
The YSET Assessments will commence during August and continue through September 2017.
