Child among four injured in vehicle collision

A child was among four persons injured Saturday in a collision involving a minibus transporting individuals to a funeral and a Coaster.

The collision occurred at around 1 pm at the corner of Manoel Street and Hospital Road, emergency officials said.

One of the passengers aboard the minibus said the vehicle had come from Millet and was heading towards a funeral when the Coaster collided with it.

Among the injured was a child who was thrown from his seat as a result of the impact between the two vehicles and a woman who sustained injuries to the face.

The injured were transported to hospital via ambulance.
