Fatal Accident along Promenade in Vieux Fort

PRESS RELEASE: Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Emeron Jn Marie, consequent to a vehicular accident which occurred on Monday, October 23, 2017, about 5:30 p.m. along the promenade, adjacent to the Phillip Marcellin Grounds, in Vieux Fort.

Emeron Jn Marie alias “Shem”, a twenty five (25) year old resident of Beanfield, Vieux Fort, was the rider of motorcycle registration number PC 388, one of the two vehicles involved in the collision. He sustained serious injuries during the incident and was conveyed to the St. Jude Hospital via ambulance. He later succumbed to his injuries. A post mortem examination is to be scheduled subsequently.

This incident brings the number of road fatalities recorded for the year 2017 to fourteen (14).

    Poor jab so young rider’s please take your time when riding be more careful rest in peace fine too soon ,all now so yesterday you were in the tire shop I guest nobody ever see it coming, its a deth we own,

    Condolences to the family of the of the departed brother. Vieux Fort is becoming the ‘Bermuda Triangle’ of St. Lucia. There are just too many incidents involving the demise of citizens in this area in recent times. (murders, accidents, rapes, robberies). The place needs purging.

    Prayer time should be considered for vieux fort and entire st lucia at least every 3 months hold a grand ceremony of prayers and worship let this not be done only throughout the election season god is always around for you and me every day we wake up.
