This is truly mind boggling! There is a deep seated hatred and a lack of respect for the police. Every initiative taken by law enforcement to curb crime and improve the police profile is greeted with disdain, vituperative remarks and downright cynicism. The reintroduction of the talk show is recommendable and should help to develop a healthy rapport between the police and the citizenry. Of course, many additional undertakings need to be done such as proper recruitment, thorough training, adequate resources, meritorious promotion, attractive remuneration, and a pristine working environment. The verbal garbage directed at the law men and women is totally unhelpful. Instead, make suggestions that can have a positive impact in curbing crime. Persons with dirty and unhealthy minds think only of dirty and unhealthy things. We were put on this earth to help each other in words and in deeds, not to destroy one another. Let your words heal not hurt and destroy.
