You are like a Donald Trump. Speak now and get the facts later. Who said bit was a homicide. It might very well be but you or I don’t know so before we make pronouncement let wait for the facts. And if it were to be a homicide it will be number 49 not 44. Just some more facts.

New Testament Verse of the Day:
Many were possessed by demons; and the demons came out at his command, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But because they knew he was the Messiah, he rebuked them and refused to let them speak.

Chastenet said he would make St. LUCIA SAFER +++, BECAUSE Kenny couldn’t. Lucians bought that. Now we got what we bargained for. But one thing I wish for…..UWP (this batch) should win the next election so that Lucians would continue to go down, down, down and out.

Well Humble, that’s the results we get for hasty decisions. Lucians are too lazy. the majority like to seat on their butts do nothing and have a thriving life. its time Lucians realise hard work pays better that quick fixes. They made the decisions let them deal with it.

Why are we always quick to criticize government and be political when a homicide happens? We have a mind og our own. STOP THE CRITICISM AND POLITICAL PREFERENCES…

So when the citizenry now call on him to do so, why are people saying they are political. They are simply asking the PM to come through on his promise

That’s just the case with every government hun there are groups all over st lucia in need of our support to take all the necessary actions to help and we as a ppl need to stop pointing fingers rather than providing information to the police to alleviate the problem lets come together we need too stop putting government above us cause there isn’t anything we can’t do in Jesus Christ who strengthens us my dear… mind over matter. Those are some of the reasons why most countries thrive over ours cause they collaborate more than we do. everything government say we accept.

Well all quick to hold the government responsible for the crime situation at hand. But here’s my question to all you, if one of you immediate family member commits an offensive act would we truly hold them accountable for their actions No matter how small and huge this offensive act is? We need to start with our own selves for his situation to come to and end.

Best and most logical comment, thus far.

      YESSSSS, Governments CAN
reduce crime. Why, they can pass legislature to curtail the crime spree. Eg you commit a crime, the law of the land should say, then, you are hanged/etal, and follow through. You snatched someone’s hard earning chain, wallet, etc,; the law of the land should state this crime is punishable by ten years head labour; and follow through.

I bet you others will behave, no doubt. My two cents.

Profound condolences to the grieving family of the departed. Politics raises its ugly head whenever there is a homicide or death by suspicious circumstances. To curtail crime, every civic minded citizen would have to become a part of the solution. Government must lead on this issue as its most important consideration should be the safety and security of all citizens and residents. Relitigating the general election and apportioning blame on either political party or leader isn’t going to save any life. To those religious enthusiasts, praying without work and action is futile. The proposed consultation on crime is a late start but every day is an opportunity to make a new beginning. The cursing, blaming, , vitriol and the coarseness of our discourse do nothing to help to mitigate crime.
