Campari’s launch, the ultimate mixer

PRESS RELEASE: On Saturday November 4 2017, Campari Caribbean launched it’s Win a Trip to Trini Carnival Campaign at the Verve in Rodney Bay. The Launch event proved to be the perfect meeting space for regional influencers as the best of St. Lucia met representatives from Jamaica and Trinidad.

The well-attended event saw St. Lucians piling into the Verve car park for what promised to be an entertaining evening. The audience rocked to the sounds of A1 Jugglers and ‘everybody’s favorite DJ’ Sir Lancelot.  Early performers included Ezra and The Fun Machine. Lucian born Ricky T led the charge, laying the foundation for an exciting and extremely engaging performance by Soca Viking and Campari Caribbean Brand Influence Ian Alvarez (Bunji Garlin).

While rain did not interrupt the play of events, those spared from the elements by Campari’s VIP tents, were busy networking. In attendance were a number of media personalities including the Waves’ Massana Morison and RCI’s Maureen Alexander. Celebrity barber Miller Charles (Miller Cuts) also made the rounds. Designer Cornelius was among the mingle as he presented a gift to Campari’s Commercial Manager Michelle Brown. Also on hand were Campari representatives from Jamaica and Trinidad adding to the cultural melting pot.

“This is what it’s all about, this was a treat for all of our Campari consumers and stakeholders we wanted to give them something truly amazing while launching or “Win a Trip to Trini Carnival 2018” campaign. Campari does everything #BitterBetterSweeter and we want to encourage everyone to enter the promotion for their chance to win” an excited Denver Alcee, Campari St. Lucia’s Brand Manager explained.

Campari’s drive to conquer Carnival in the Caribbean will include several rousing stops throughout the region in the coming weeks. The stops will share the entertainment and surprises that will become synonymous with Campari Carnival.

“What Campari is about to do will blow consumers’ minds.  When you experience Carnival with Campari, there is something definitely above average. There are a number of activities for consumers to get involved in and above all that, some of the greatest rewards ever,” disclosed Kamal Powell Regional Marketing Manager Campari.

The Campari machinery now sets its sights on Trinidad where it will launch later this week. The Trinidad launch will take place on November 8 at The Residence Restaurant and Bar in Port of Spain.
