Breaking News: Police find shallow grave in search for missing Laborie mother

Police searching for the missing Laborie woman have come across a shallow grave, law enforcement sources tell St Lucia Times.

Officers are currently on the scene.

32 year old Saadia Byron was first reported missing yesterday afternoon.

Relatives say the mother of three had left home Friday to collect baby supplies from a bus driver in Vieux Fort.

The last time she spoke to relatives, she was on a bus heading back to Laborie.

Family members became concerned and raised the alarm when she failed to return home after several hours.

“We all are devastated,” Chris said. “We all want to find out what’s going on. We all want some closure to this thing. Every family wants, dead or alive, to have their loved one back, he added.

Saadia Byron is mother to two girls and a boy, ages 7, 12, and 15 years old.

St Lucia Times understands that law enforcement forces have discovered some items believed to belong to the woman but are tight lipped as to what they are.

This is an awful story, that poor lady and her kids. I just hope that if they have found her and that whomever did this gets caught, so often people get away with murder in this country.

Horrible! Egregious! Mr. Chastanet needs to give a televised National Address and lead the fight against these heartless, soulless hooligans. If this murderous trend continue, then St. Lucia would be severely depopulated at the end of this administration present term. This is time to be resolute in ridding the country of this scourge. This is no time for frivolous political games. Stop with the blame game. It does nothing to stop the bloodletting. Every man, woman, boy and girl can help to combat this most disturbing tide. See any strange activities, alert the authorities.

My condolences. I hope real (!) police from abroad, US, Canada, UK, France comes soon to our island. We need to clean our police first, than we can catch criminals. Luciana stand up, make a demonstration in front of the governor’s house and ask for foreign police support. If not…. next year we will double the killings.

Lucians have turned their backs from The Most High. So right now deh we live a life of Sodom/Gomorrah. We are empowering the Devil. So now he is here to kill, destroy and terminate.
    It’s his delicacy.
    Lucians take heed.
