Family members want answers in death of ‘Cosol’

Relatives of the late Nereus ‘Cosol’ Francis have said that they want answers regarding his death.

Police reported finding his body at La Feuillet, Gros Islet about 10:40 p.m. on Monday beneath his Toyota Land Cruiser Prado registration number TX 825

“It is not something that was easy for us, knowing the sort of person that he was and getting that kind of news – it’s very sad,” the nephew  of the deceased, Dwight Francis, told reporters.

” We just want to know what really happened to him,” he told reporters as family members awaited the findings of a post mortem examination Thursday.

In response to a question from a reporter about the future of Cosol St. Lucia Tours which the deceased founded, the nephew disclosed that the the family hopes the enterprise will continue.

“We have to continue the business. He’s one of the most famous persons you can find in Saint Lucia right now. So we are going to sit and have a meeting to decide. Moving forward, we want to continue the business because he is a legend basically in Saint Lucia.”
