PM thanks President Clinton for visiting OJO labs

Prime Minister Allen Chastanet has expressed his gratitude to former United States President, Bill Clinton, for visiting OJO Labs during his recent trip here.

“I am extremely grateful to President Clinton and his team for taking time out during his trip to Saint Lucia to visit our innovative and talented team at OJO Labs,” Chastanet wrote in a post on his Facebook page.

The PM noted that OJO Labs is currently hiring over 20 new Saint Lucians every month commencing this summer.

He disclosed that it is anticipated that they will employ about 700 Saint Lucians by the year 2020.

“Not only are these young people being taught IT skills, but their knowledge of the Real Estate market and selling internationally is being greatly enhanced at this state of the art facility,” Chastanet explained.

“Thank you to President Clinton for sharing some valuable advice and connections to help strengthen this programme,” the Prime Minister said.

Last week, Clinton visited Saint Lucia where he and Chastanet  opened a solar project facilitated by the Clinton Climate Initiative and Rocky Mountain Institute.

OJO labs was a good idea. When it good say it good. I have three friends from the south who got work there after not working for years. For once a politician is doing something for the south whether u like him or not

Tracey G, your argument is so ridiculous. Divide the millions that OJO labs got by the number of persons employed and tell me if it was worth the money. If you talking employment why did they stop the NICE programme that cost less and employed many more people while benefiting our health and education sectors?

New Testament Verse of the Day:
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Prime Misister Chastanet looks as old as former president Clinton. They looked like a 100 year old rabbit.
