300 Kilos Of Cocaine & Ganja Seized In Caribbean Sea

The French navy stopped two boats and seized 300 kilos of cocaine and cannabis during an operation in the Caribbean sea.

According to Martinique 1ere, the bust was made last month but only made public Friday.

The publication reported that navy officers from the surveillance frigate, Ventôse, detected and then boarded two boats engaged in drug trafficking on November 15 and 17, 2019.

” In total, nearly 300kg of cocaine and cannabis were intercepted. These narcotic products were intended to feed the criminal networks of Guadeloupe and Martinique, “the prefecture of Martinique was quoted as saying.

Thirteen people were arrested in the operation, nine of whom have already faced the courts and been handed stiff prison sentences, it was reported.

  1. They got a lot of people,but the amount of drugs dosent seem much,how stiff were the penalties? This article dosent say much.
