Press Release:- French Caribbean airline, Air Antilles is on schedule to increase its winter service to Destination Saint Lucia. Commencing on December 6, 2021, Saint Lucia will benefit from a capacity of approximately three thousand (3,000) seats per month, on the schedule to George F.L. Charles Airport.

With the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) placing strategic emphasis on airlift from the French market, this increase in service is a direct result of market trends and frequent consultations with the airline.

“We are truly appreciative of the positive response from the team at Air Antilles. This partnership lends support to the efforts of the SLTA in recognizing the arrival of more Caribbean visitors and returning nationals within source markets. The schedule also provides same day return service making it so much easier to escape to the awe-inspiring island of Saint Lucia”, remarked Christopher Gustave, Marketing Manager at the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority with responsibility for the Caribbean Market and Events.

The airline will operate daily direct flights from Barbados, and from Pointe-à-Pitre and Fort-de-France on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

“I am happy to inform all Saint Lucians that Air Antilles will significantly increase its service to Saint Lucia during the winter period 2021-2022. This increase is proof of our commitment to the wider English-speaking Caribbean, which has faced significant reduction in inter-regional air service due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also a demonstration of our confidence in Saint Lucia as a very exciting demand destination for our network. Our winter schedule will offer Saint Lucians the ease of movement across several Caribbean gateways, including Martinique, Guadeloupe, Barbados, Sint Maarten, Curacao, Dominica and now Antigua.”, said Stephane Wessels, CEO of Air Antilles.

Caribcation Saint Lucia is driving a robust campaign, that invites the audience to bask in Saint Lucia’s undeniable beauty, varied selection of accommodations and adventures, through a recently launched destination video.

Caribbean visitors and retuning nationals must check with the airline for schedules and obtain a negative PCR (Polymerized Chain Reaction) test within five days before travel to Saint Lucia.

To ensure a seamless airport experience, regardless of vaccination status, all travelers must complete a Pre-Arrival registration form before departure, found on The page features information on the island, and a checklist overview of mandatory requirements.
