Bandits armed with cutlasses and a bolt cutter Wednesday morning attacked Lushan Country House at Lushan Country Life nature park, it has been reported.
The park is located on the bypass road from Morne du Don to Union.
A director of the business enterprise told St Lucia Times that the bandits struck about 1.00 am and left the premises some two hours later.
According to the director, the intruders wore hoodies and masks.
It was explained that based on CCTV footage of the incident, the bandits gained entry at two points – a door upstairs and a downstairs window.
“They took a number of items and drinks from the gift shop,” the director told St Lucia Times.
In addition, the intruders are reported to have tampered with the CCTV cameras and stole one of them.
Lushan Country Life on its official website bills itself as an encounter with nature in Saint Lucia right in the heart of the city.

Police are investigating the break-in.
