Armed Robbery In Marchand

Bandits robbed Ti J’s Ultramart Supermarket in Marchand, Castries, Thursday and escaped with an undisclosed sum of money, law enforcement sources have confirmed.

According to reports, two masked males wielding a firearm entered the business place and stole the tray to the cash register before escaping.

The tray contained $240.00, St Lucia Times was informed.

There were no reports of injuries.

The incident occurred shortly before noon.
