A man who attempted a motorcycle stunt in Castries ended up in hospital when the attempt failed, eyewitnesses say.

The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) said it transported the 36-year old male to hospital after a motorcycle accident near the Sans Souci bridge Sunday about 5.20 pm.

Persons on the scene reported that the man was attempting to execute a motorcycle ‘wheelie’ when he lost control of the bike.

As a result, he sustained an ‘open fracture’ to the left ankle region, according to emergency responders.
