Bar Owner ‘Heard Arguments’ Before Fatal Stabbing In Micoud

The owner of a bar in Micoud where a man was stabbed to death, has told reporters that she heard arguments before learning that there had been a homicide.

Hot 7 News reported that the owner of New Level Bar where the incident took place said although she did not see what happened, she witnessed the aftermath.

The woman, who did not wish to appear on camera, explained that she normally has karaoke every Tuesday evening.

“In the early hours of the morning I was at the back of the bar washing dishes and I heard arguments. By the time I rushed at the front of the bar, I saw a guy with some stains on his shirt and a young lady standing to the entrance of my washroom,” she told Hot 7 News.

The businesswoman said she inquired what had happened, whereupon it was explained that a man had been stabbed. She said a woman claimed responsibility for the stabbing.

The deceased was identified as Lance Camille aka “Pestro’, said to be in his thirties.

He sustained stab wounds during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Police are said to be interviewing a number of persons in connection with the incident, including a woman.

  1. Arguing with some people can be an exercise in futility most of the time, because some people are of the opinion that only their point of view is valid, and should be heard, be it lovers, friend or otherwise. And if alcohol is in the mix, the level of irrationality goes up exponentially.
