Bermuda rout St Lucia in Under-17 opener

Royal Gazette:-Bermuda made a flying start to the women’s Concacaf Caribbean Under-17 qualifiers with a 3-0 win over host nation St Lucia in group C late last night.

The Lady Gombey Warriors’ goals all came in the first half and they took an early lead through an own goal. LeiLanni Nesbeth made it 2-0 from inside the penalty area and Jaden Masters added the third with an acrobatic effort.

Bermuda face Antigua and Barbuda tomorrow and Aruba in their final group match on Saturday.
