Emergency personnel say they transported a biker to hospital Wednesday, after his motorcycle collided with a car near Pigeon Island.
Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) spokeswoman, Stacy Joseph said the Gros Islet Fire Station received a call regarding the incident about 6.45 pm.
Joseph said responders found found one male lying on his back near the motorcycle.
According to the SLFS spokeswoman, the biker was complaining of pain to his arm.
“An assessment revealed a possible upper extremity dislocation and abrasions and a laceration to the patient’s head,” Joseph said.
She explained that as a result, responders treated his wounds and transported him to the OKEU Hospital.
