Blue Waters Worker Charged With Arson

A worker at Blue Waters bottled water company has been charged with arson, police say.

A law enforcement official told St Lucia Times that the charges arose out of an incident earlier this week in which a company truck was burnt.

No one was reported injured in the incident that occurred at Bois Jolie, Dennery.

Police have identified the accused as John Mc Vane of  Mongiraud, Gros Islet.

He was also slapped with charges of stealing by reason of employment and reckless damage.

Mc Vane was reported missing by his family after the incident involving the company truck fire and was subsequently found in Gros Islet, it was reported.

Gros Islet police then handed him over to officers at the Dennery police station where he is currently in custody until Monday, when the Blue Waters worker is scheduled to appear before a magistrate.

    • Yes I hope they deal with him according to the law and not according to whim and fancy of any person because I dont want him to end up being paid out millions by the state for keeping him in because he wasnt fit to stand trial…Do it right i cant afford to pay anymore criminals via my taxes when a raise is all i can ask for.

Smart ass if you understood what he previous commentor was saying you wouldnt call it dumb.

      • Well Dumber, you obviously didn’t understand my comment either cause its only logical that he must be charged under the criminal code for the offence of arson
