Body Of Male Found At Trouya Identified

Saint Lucia police  have identified the body of a male found at Trouya Monday morning as that of Cleus Alfred, 27, of Ravine Macock, Monchy.

The body was discovered about 6.00 am in a pool of blood on the road, according to law enforcement officials.

The officials told St Lucia Times that persons in the area had reported hearing gunshots being fired earlier.

According to police statistics, this country has so far recorded 30 homicides, including two fatal police shootings.
