BOSL Announces Enhanced Safety Measures Amid COVID-19 Spike

The Bank of Saint Lucia (BOSL) has advised customers of enhanced safety measures in response to the spike in cases of COVID-19 in the country, asserting that the bank’s ‘utmost priority’ is keeping its clients safe.
In an email Friday to customers, BOSL announced that the new measures include account opening by appointment only, virtual interviews and enhanced health and safety measures.
In addition, the banking institution announced changes in opening hours, effective Monday September 13th 2021:
  • BOSL branches with the exception of Gros Islet and Soufriere, will resume regular customer hours from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Gros Islet and Soufriere branches will open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from Monday September 13th to Friday September 17th 2021.
“As much as possible, customers are encouraged to utilize convenience banking services for day to day banking (Online/Mobile Banking, ATMs, POS, Debit & Credit Cards). Please continue to adhere to all necessary protocols including social distancing, wearing of masks and frequent sanitization. If you feel unwell, please report to the nearest community respiratory clinic,” the BOSL email stated.
