A bound male who was pulled from a burning house at Chassin, Babonneau on Christmas Day, has died.
Police say Winston Dosithee, 51, of the same community passed away on Saturday at the Owen King European Union Hospital (OKEUH).
According to law enforcement officials, about 4.30 am on Christmas Day, Babonneau police responded to a report of arson at Chassin, Babonneau.
They disclosed that when the officers arrived, they were informed that a maleĀ who had been bound with cloth material had been pulled from the burning residence.
He had extensive burns about the body.
The victim was taken to hospital where he later succumbed.
A law enforcement official told St Lucia Times that the death is being treated as a homicide.
