Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons to Represent Caribbean region in Milan

Caribbean, Wednesday, January 17, 2018: Trinidadian soca power couple, Ian “Bunji Garlin” Alvarez and Fay-Ann Lyons-Alvarez, are to this month make history as they represent the entire Caribbean region at the launch of the Campari Red Diaries in Milan, Italy. Campari Red Diaries is an all-star short movie steeped in intrigue, leading viewers in the journey of pursuit of the perfect cocktail. Evolving Campari’s ethos that ‘every cocktail tells a story’, this year’s film is a celebration of bartenders’ talent around the world and most importantly, the Red Hands, masters of the world’s best cocktails.

“The Campari Red Diaries brings to the forefront that every Campari cocktail tells a story, and here in the Caribbean, we have our own stories, when we come together we share mesmerizing experiences. Having our Campari Caribbean brand influencer share in this worldwide celebration of the brand is an honour for us” shared Kamal Powell, Regional Brand Manager for the brand Campari.

Garlin shared similar sentiments saying, “I am very excited for this upcoming experience for my wife and I, as we have been interacting with Campari mixes at parties, fetes, and concerts throughout the Caribbean. We can’t wait to create memories to last a lifetime by being immersed in the diverse homeland of the drink to further expand our connection with the brand.”

Garlin is set to depart for Milan on Sunday, January 28, and will return in time for the remainder of his Trinidad Carnival 2018 activities and commitments.
