Peter told St Lucia Times that the family wants justice.

“Justice is what I want – that’s all I want, justice,” he declared.

Peter said he wanted the police to move quickly to arrest whosoever was responsible for the attack at Faux A Chaud, Castries.

One resident of the community disclosed that both men were returning from an unsuccessful mission to make peace between two people who were in conflict.

According to the resident, the father and son were walking home when they came under attack.

Martin Joseph’s death was Saint Lucia’s first homicide for the New Year.
