Press Release:– Female Wave of Change, a Netherlands based Social Impact Global Women’s Organization held its first event in the Caribbean region, hosted in St. Lucia as the Activation Weekend, led by the organization’s Caribbean Ambassador Nicole Joseph-Chin.
The goals of this organization are to build ecosystems of social impact and active engagement throughout the region, whilst applying cultural sensitivity and social engagement via the appointment of an Island Ambassador to propel each island’s activities.
This inspiring and intimate gathering was attended by Women Leaders from St. Lucia, St. Kitts, The Netherlands, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Suriname.
Thought inspiring conversations – new ideas for the region, new collaborations were all positioned for development on the horizon.
The weekend was filled with learning and ignited by positivity, with the incorporating of wellness, innovate thinking, leadership training, photography, all blended to catalyze social impact.
NY Times St. Lucia Photographer, Kirk Elliott gave us an interactive lesson in smart phone photography, Author, Doctor and Body Joy Innovator Dr. Destang-Beaubrun taught us about balancing our busy entrepreneurial lifestyles, Author and Leadership Expert Ruth Sinkeler taught us about Sexy Leadership and Women’s Health Innovator, Global Speaker and Caribbean Social Entrepreneur Nicole Joseph-Chin shared her experience and thought-leadership around sustainability and social impact towards the positive influence inside Entrepreneurial and Economic ecosystems.
In attendance were some of the most dynamic and innovative Caribbean Women Leaders and the men who are our Champions of Change.
Inspiring change, igniting innovation, influencing leadership were all underlying themes of this special weekend which was held at the scenic Convent grounds at Coubaril in St. Lucia.
Female Wave of Change currently has Ambassadors in Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and now in the Caribbean.
