Castries Resident Arrested For Possession Of Dangerous Weapons

A Castries resident was arrested on Saturday for possession of dangerous weapons in the continuing crackdown on crime by the City Police, it has been reported.

A law enforcement official told St Lucia Times that Melvin Joseph of Faux-A-Chaux, Castries, was arrested and charged for the offence.

According to the official, Joseph was in possession of two knives on Darling Road about 3.00 PM.

He is expected to be taken to court on Monday.
