Chamber Announces Hosting Of Business Awards

Press Release:– The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture announces that it will be hosting the 10th edition of the St. Lucia Business Awards.

The celebrations will be held on October 19th2019.

The goal of the Saint Lucia Business Awards continues to be, the recognizing, rewarding, encouraging and celebrating top performing businesses within Saint Lucia’s private sector.

The Chamber seeks to highlight and profile the many firms that in the face of a tough and increasingly competitive economic and business environment, strive to break boundaries, innovate, give back, overcome challenges, compete globally, and achieve significant success in their daily operations.

It is recognized that when this happens it is not the work or success of the intangible body corporate, company, but rather it is the effort, the expertise and the drive of persons, of Saint Lucians who are bringing life to these successes and so our Business Awards celebrates these many outstanding people behind those winning Companies.

The St. Lucia Business Awards continues to grow in stature and in our tenth year, we went a step further to review, upgrade and enhance the Awards. This year we present a new list of categories or revamped categories, we have added new ones and changed the focus of some

The Awards will this year celebrate past winners and move forward aggressively to bring great benefits and value to the winners and the shortlisted nominees. We will be seeking also to introduce some tangible benefits that winners can utilize during the ensuing year as part of the Award.

The awards application has been  reviewed and revised our and the adjudication process which remains independent, impeccable and rigorous with a panel of distinguished judges working with us to ensure the highest level of integrity is maintained.

  2. Non Profit or Association of the Year
  3. Employer of the Year
  4. New Business of the Year
  5. Entrepreneur of the Year Award
  6. People’ Choice Award
  7. Young Professional of the Year
  8. Award for Environmental Stewardship
  9. Award for Service Excellence
  10. Prime Minister’s Award for Innovation
  11. Award for Corporate Social Responsibility
  12. Export Achievement of the Year

We will again host an orientation workshop for all interested businesses on the entry submissions, the date will be announced in due course.

This Workshop will provide tips on making a winning submission. This workshop is opened to all businesses and individuals interested in participating and making submissions to the Awards.

The revision to the forms and process is aimed at making completion of entries straightforward and simple for all. The Awards remains a demonstration that size is no deterrent to success. We look forward to a high level of submission in the tenth year of the Awards.

The deadline date for Submissions is August 30th 2019. We once again invite one and all to take part and make a submission to the 2019 Saint Lucia Business Awards.
