Prime Minister Allen Chastanet has lauded what he described as a ‘great show’ Friday night in which the son of Saint Lucian parents, Terance Mann, scored a career record 39 points in the Los Angeles Clippers win over Utah Jazz .
Clippers defeated Utah Jazz 131-119 to advance to the conference finals for the first time in the franchise’s 51-year history.
“Wow! Wow! Wow! What a great show last night. Terance Mann, 39 points, game-winning three-pointer,” the Saint Lucia Prime Minister declared.
“We are all so proud of you in terms of what you have achieved,” Chastanet said of Mann.
In a video posted on his official Facebook page, the PM declared that Mann has shown what can be achieved with hard work.
“When I met you earlier and you told be that you were going to be an impact player, I didn’t know it was going to be this soon. You are a baaad man,” an obviously elated Chastanet asserted.
He also extended congratulations to the basketballer’s family.
Mann told reporters after his performance that he trusts his work.

“When you trust in your work and you trust in yourself, you’re not surprised when any of this happens,” he explained.
