Prime Minister Allen Chastanet says an image relating to a 24 hour shutdown until April 7 is fake news.
People have been circulating the information via social media.
However, the Prime Minister noted that a close examination would reveal that the image says April 7, 2020.
And he recalled that the authorities produced the flyer during last year’s shutdown.
“There are no current plans for a 24 hour shutdown,” Chastanet asserted, as he urged everyone to have a safe weekend.
The PM’s Facebook post attracted some 30 comments.
“Idle minds will do that’, one declared, while another asserted: “I don’t see anything fake about sharing your memory.”
Several other individuals commented that people merely need to take time to read.
