Emergency services responded to  separate incidents of chopping and stabbing  in Castries Tuesday afternoon.

Details of the incidents are sketchy.

However the Times was informed that in one of the incidents, a victim sustained multiple stab wounds.

It is reported that in another incident, someone was chopped on the wrist.

One incident occurred near the Monchy bus stand while the other took place near the Castries Market, according to reports.

One of the injured persons was transported to hospital via private vehicle while an ambulance assigned to Assou Square is said to have taken the other victim to Victoria Hospital.

Both incidents are reported to have occurred after 3:pm within minutes of each other.
