CIBC FirstCaribbean Insurance Agency launched

Castries, St. Lucia, June 2nd, 2016 – St. Lucians now have a new option for insurance!  

On Thursday June 2nd, CIBC FirstCaribbean announced a partnership with Massy United Insurance that enables the provision of home and motor insurance through CIBC FirstCaribbean Insurance Agency to its customers.

The launch event was well attended by members of the corporate sector, the bank’s clients, members of the public and media who were treated to an informative presentation that highlighted the benefits of the venture to customers.

Mr. Paul Inniss, Director of Insurance at CIBC FirstCaribbean, introduced participants to a convenient and easier way to insure their homes and vehicles.

The new Home and Auto Protection Plan boasts convenience, affordable pricing, and a reliable, broad scope of insurance coverage available to the bank’s customers at all of its branches in St. Lucia

Highlighting the importance placed on providing customer centric services, Donna Wellington, Managing Director, Barbados Operating Company stressed that the “insurance offer is the latest fine example of us providing client satisfaction in an efficient, high quality and economical manner.

This is a significant milestone in our quest for continuous improvement.

This partnership with Massy United Insurance, one of the region’s leading insurers, offers co-branded CIBC Home and Auto Insurance products to our clients across eight of our 17 countries.”

Country Manager, Ladesa James- Williams added, “our customers are now able to go to any of our branches and get the insurance they need, right where they bank.

They can also make payments and file claims.

The launch of CIBC FirstCaribbean Insurance is yet another tangible demonstration of the bank’s commitment to offering innovative products and services aimed at further enhancing our customer experience.”
