Civil Status Registry Continues To Serve Clients On Ground Floor Offices

Press Release:– The Department of Justice wishes to inform the public of the temporary relocation of services at the Registry of Civil Status and Rectification (Adjudicator’s) Office on Brazil Street Castries from August 18, to August 30, 2021. 

Consequently, from Wednesday, August 18, to Friday, August 20, the services offered at the Rectification Office will be accessed at the main office (on the ground floor) of the Civil Status Registry. This temporary relocation of services is to facilitate deep cleaning of the Offices.

All applications for vital records at the Civil Status Registry will be processed at the Rectification (Adjudicator’s) Office on Brazil Street on Monday, August 23, 2021 to Monday, August 30, 2021. 

Clients who wish to collect certificates applied for previously can do so at the Rectification (Adjudicator’s) Office on Brazil Street. Rectification services will be suspended from August 23, to August 30, 2021 and will resume service on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Requests for emergency rectifications can be emailed  to rectificationinterviews@govt.lc. Payments for all transactions will be made at the Accounts Section of the Department of Justice. Normal services shall resume on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
