St Lucians have no right to be crying now. Every time SLP is in power, only one or two contractors get all the contracts via direct award, yet they refer to direct awards as corruption when not in office. I remember Rayneau building the Banse La Grace road during the last SLP administration and not one person from that community got a job during the construction. Rayneau employs the least number of people on his project yet he still pays lower wages than any contractor. Give him all the contracts to employ less than 25 people, rather than give these 17 contracts to about 8 different contractors who would easily employ between 300 to 400 employees. This is what we call PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST.
I take it Gros Islet continues to be half finished. Good old Kenson strikes again, or not
Were these contracts tendered or just direct awards?
What’s about the other contractors. Who owns CIE?
Labor 5 years is not eternally.

EC $26,187,891.71) on three constituencies at one time.
So what about the Castries – Gros Islet Highway. When will it ever be completed. What a bunch of jokers
I suppose when that work restarts you will have another “What about…?”. Patience my friend, Patience. It is coming.
Wow, marvelous, 18 contracts to one contractor that is Rayneau. Are you saying the other contractors don’t have SLP supporters working with them? Is that what labour supporters voted for? Well done prime Minister Pierre, putting Rayneau first
They said it is set to commence on June 15th the patching of the holes has been in progress for the course of the week in the Beaubeauville area so why they such crooks?Hmm They owe the citizens but trying to take as much they can everysingle day….Dont ask for taxes
Don’t speak on issues you know nothing of. The road rehabilitation project has nothing to do with the fact that the residents of Beaubeauville decided to patch the holes themselves. Keep your ignorance to yourself!
the residents of Beaubeauville have made a good decision congratulations
More patching of roads and call it rehabilitation what a crock
What happen to the areas PJP walked in and promised to fix the roads like Bocage and Ravine Chabot ?? He forget about them or he payed too many persons to vote for him he not interested in fixing the roads anymore??Enjoy your first and last 5 years in power…………PJP/Phillip J Chien…..hope those roads get completed!!!
What about Gais Bois Road???? The road has been forgotten for years now, no emergency vehicles would get down it. Families live there. Its so bad that everyone struggles with their vehicles or they get totally stuck. The road is lower then the drains so when it rain the road turns into a river. Shame on the passed and present government.
