‘Cop who cares’ produces anti-crime videos

Two new anti-crime videos are to be released by a police officer, described as a ‘Cop who cares’.

The two new releases will address ATM and Traffic Safety.

The initiative is the brainchild of Sergeant 708 Shervon Matthieu  who is currently attached to the Babonneau Police Station.

Matthieu told St Lucia Times that he embarked on the project stemming from the publication of his handbooks on personal safety last year.

“It was a success and the appeal for more books was overwhelming,” he explained.

However, Matthieu disclosed that he approached a number of business places for sponsorship to print more books but to no avail.

“Thank God, the National Lotteries Authority came through and we decided to circulate personal safety videos,” he stated.

“With the assistance of Ted Sandford and Acid Kreations we produced the videos. I am going to circulate one each week for the next three weeks,” Matthieu explained.

Three videos were produced and one has been officially released.

The other two will be released subsequently.

  1. This guy is awesome. Sadly his breed is so rare in the Royal St. Lucia Police Farce. Don’t let them kill your spirit.
