Corinth Business Establishment Robbed At Gunpoint

Two masked bandits, one armed with a gun, on Wednesday morning about 11 O’ clock entered TJs Ultra Mart in Corinth, Grande Riviere, Gros Islet and escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash, police say.

According to law enforcement officials, the bandits held the security guard on duty at gunpoint.

It’s the latest in a spate of armed robberies that have been taking place at various business places in recent weeks.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
