A court Monday ordered a woman to attend anger management classes.
The woman is Tessa Albert of Bois Den, Jacmel.
She was filmed flogging a schoolgirl while engaging in an expletive filled rant.
She had pleaded guilty in December 2019 to the charge of harming her niece after the video was posted on social media and went viral.
During the rant, Albert accused the niece, of wearing her shoes.
“Why the (expletive) you have my shoe in your feet? You know I have to go to class in your (expletive),” the woman demanded while striking the child with a stick.
In meting out sentence the Magistrate ordered that Albert make an open court apology to her niece.
The Magistrate then explained to the nice what is the right thing to do before taking someone’s belongings without their consent.
The accused Tessa Albert was then put on probation for one year, ordered to attend anger management classes, enroll in job training and perform 100 hours of community service.
In default, she will serve 4 months in prison.
