Courts Refurbishes Soufriere Branch To Better Serve Its Customers

Press Release:- Courts Customers from the town of Soufriere and the neighboring southern communities can now enjoy shopping in renewed comfort at its newly renovated store beginning Friday, October 22, 2021.

Courts has been a part of the St. Lucian Community since 1981 and moved to Soufriere 3 years later, in 1984. The Soufriere branch serves not only the people of Soufriere, but the neighboring districts of Choiseul and Canaries.

In addition to minor structural works completed on the building, the Company completely remodeled the space and widened its product and furniture offerings.

At the reopening ceremony, OECS Managing Director, Mr. Vincent Gordon stated, “At Courts, we’ve always provided stylish, affordable options for home furnishings and payment options that suit the needs of our customers by way of Courts Ready Finance. We decided to renovate this location to make it more comfortable and provide a wider range of products and services like Courts Ready Cash, to better serve our community.”

In addition to providing the classic deals for customers during the opening, Courts also
partnered with the Rising Stars Youth & Sports Club and the Soufriere Parish to make donations of grocery and stationary hampers to underprivileged persons in the communities of Palmiste and Barons Drive in Soufriere. The company also donated a wheel chair to an elderly resident of Barons Drive.

“We will also be donating tablets to the students of the Bouton Combined School to assist with the transition to virtual learning. We remain committed to the overall improvement of the lives of our customers and the communities in which we serve have. Courts is here to stay and it is in knowing this, that we will continue to make the investment in Soufriere.” Mr. Gordon added.

To mark the celebration, customers who visited the Soufriere Branch between 22 – 23 October, got a chance to pick their discounts, ranging from 5% to 100% off the total cost of their sale. Mr. Andrew Collymore, was presented with a gift certificate valued at $500, as the oldest serving customer in Soufriere.
