  1. We are we complaining when we sit by and let this government take us for a ride. I guess the 200 people at gros islet says it all. Where are all the Pan beaters now. Where is Christopher hunt ?? I guess we suffer in silence. We wanted better not butter.

  2. I am watching to see whether the Micoud police will not do their jobs as it pertains to Ti Quisine in the village of Micoud. For starters, the organizer has no approval from the CMO to host the event. The event is also poorly policed for the magnitude of the crowd it attracts. Is Micoud police waiting until disaster strikes to enforce the law? I hope not. Apparently nothing in the Covid protocol applies to the event and it’s organizer, so I am hoping that the CMO and the police commissioner take the required action before disaster strikes. I am also aware that in true St. Lucian spirit, nothing is taken seriously unless we are forced to, or disaster strikes. And Ti Quisine looks like the ideal venue for the murderous gangs in the South to settle their score. The ticking time bomb!!

  3. As far as I’m concerned, you guys should have just stayed quiet instead of issuing a Press Release which makes you’ll look like a bunch of idiots.

I’m sure that statement was issued without consultation with the Medical & Dental Association and other Stakeholders but the Pom Pom ‘girls’ will be cheering ’for de ppl’ day bun hypocrite

  4. “A person can host or attend a social event or recreational activity that consists of not more than two hundred persons or his or her immediate family or fully vaccinated persons”.
    and
“A person with the approval of the National Emergency Management Organization shall host or attend a social event or recreational activity that consists of more than two hundred but not more than three hundred fully vaccinated persons”.
I did not go to much school, so somebody help me. Doesn’t that say that Gros Islet Friday Night and TI Kwizin in Micoud should not be taking place? Or if they take place only up to three hundred vaccinated people should attend? So are we making rules but there are really no rules? And calypso tents in full swing. AA look it.

  5. Double standards. Why don’t government remove all social restrictions on mass crowds if they are endorsing open bacchanal and G-Islet Friday? What’s up with these so called Covid protocols which proves to be nonsensical. As carnival draws closer we all Know just to allow your bacchanal restrictions on mass crowd will be removed so your carnival can take place. I just hope after your dirty carnival bacchanal the government do not shut down or stricken the protocols if the spike continues after Carnival. If they created a mess I will not be paying for it if the choose to put curfew or state of emergency.

    • Those protocols have never made any difference. If you so worried after two whole years of this farce….stay at your home!!

      • At this point they don’t even have to make sense. I kid you not. Was driving along the “back road”. Road deserted except the occasional car passing. Saw this 50+ lady exercising (walking). Woman masked up. And she all by herself. The next person I saw was about 200 metres away. That’s what I call as maskhole. There is no hope to save those people.
