Press Release:- The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs informs the public that it is in receipt of proposals from private organizations seeking permission to verify COVID-19 Digital Vaccination Certificates in Saint Lucia.

The Ministry of Health is aware of the sensitive nature of personal health records and has not endorsed nor collaborated with any private agency to share health records for the production of COVID-19 Digital Vaccination Certificates. Neither have they authorized the verification of such a Digital Certificate using a third party platform.

Hence, persons are advised not to share their personal information with any private entity in the hope of being issued a COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.

The Ministry of Health is in an advance stage of rolling out the COVID-19 Digital Vaccination Certificate Programme on the DigiGov Platform, and we anticipate that it will be launched before the end of the year.

  1. The WHO makes it very clear that is the ultimate goal for the vax pass.
Digital documentation of COVID-19 certificates: vaccination status: technical specifications and implementation guidance, 27 August 2021
This is a guidance document for countries and implementing partners on the technical requirements for developing digital information systems for issuing standards-based interoperable digital certificates for COVID-19 vaccination status, and considerations for implementation of such systems, for the purposes of continuity of care, and proof of vaccination.
This work was funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Government of Estonia, Fondation Botnar, the State of Kuwait, and the Rockefeller Foundation.

  2. @Jay The flippant nature of your comment is concerning. It seems you are not aware that the status of your private information does not influence or stop you for living your life or accessing the basic needs. There are no conditions that have a sweeping effect on my life. However with this vax pass, it will effect every aspect of your life. When the jab eventually affects you and your cant take your 5th booster, it will be back to square one for you. How do you NOT understand that?
The WHO has made it very clear of the plans. This vax pass will be your social credit pass. And you have an understanding of social credit systems, you would not support this.
