COVID-19: Saint Lucia Records 11 New Cases

Saint Lucia has recorded 11 new cases of COVID-19, according to a release Saturday night from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The release said the 11 new cases were diagnosed from a batch of 219 samples  taken on June 9 and June 10 and processed on Friday,

In the meantime, the ministry has announced  the recovery of 16 individuals, bringing the total number of active cases in country to 111.

All active cases are currently doing well and none of them are in the intensive care unit.

The new positives bring the total number of cases diagnosed in country to date to 5179.

As of noon on Saturday, 29,580 individuals had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 20,552 of those had also received the second dose.
