Doctor Kenny Anthony has said that he is confident of victory, but anxious for the results of today’s general elections.

Speaking to reporters this morning, Anthony said he was heartened by the turnout at Odsan where he cast his ballot.

Anthony was accompanied by his wife.

He felt that the turnout, despite the inclement weather, was an indication that Saint Lucians are determined to vote.

Anthony said he was confident that he can trust the wisdom of the people of Saint Lucia.

He disclosed that he was happy that the election campaign was not more than eighteen days.

“I think the country wanted to breathe and get this out of the way,” Anthony asserted.
