Driver Escapes Injury After Vehicle Crash

A driver escaped unhurt after a vehicle crash at Independence City, Castries, Sunday afternoon, eyewitnesses have reported.

According to the eyewitnesses, the taxi driver had dropped off some passengers and was driving down the hill when the vehicle skidded.

They told St Lucia Times he lost control and the vehicle jumped a gutter before crashing into the concrete step of a building that serves as a warehouse for a local company.

No one is reported to have been in harm’s way at the time of the accident which occurred after noon.

The  front part of the vehicle was damaged, the eyewitnesses reported.
