An eleven year old boy is nursing head injuries after a private vehicle came into contact with his bicycle, it has been reported.

The incident occurred at Mon Repos Thursday morning about, St Lucia Times was informed.

According to information, the Mon Repos Combined School student was on an errand to purchase bread to make sandwiches to take to school when the collision happened.

The child was taken to St Jude Hospital and later transferred to Tapion Hospital,  where he was admitted it was reported.

  1. So the rumour is that the private vehicle which hit the boy was driven by a police officer. I await a Press Release from the Police Force on this accident.
