Environment & Oceans Day Thank You

PRESS RELEASE:-The Department of Fisheries would like to thank members of the public for their tremendous support and participation in the observance of World Environment and Oceans Day 2017.  The Department extends special appreciation to the persons who pledged their commitment to reducing the use of plastics and participated in the Beach cleanup.

Special Thanks to Massy Stores for sponsorship and the assistance of its Volunteer Team.

The Department also wishes to recognize the support and assistance provided by the National Conservation Authority, St Lucia National Trust, Sustainable Development Unit, Biodiversity Unit, Forestry Department, Students of Castries Comprehensive Secondary School and Sir Ira Simmons Secondary School.
