Laborie attack victim released from hospital

One of two Laborie attack victims has been released from hospital.

A forty-nine year old female who was one of two persons who came under attack on Sunday by a masked bandit, has been discharged from St Jude Hospital, Times sources have said.

The woman’s forty-one year old male companion is still hospitalized.

He is said to be in stable condition.

According to information obtained by the Times, the couple were in a vehicle at Sapphire, Laborie, when a masked individual with a cutlass attacked them.

The two were robbed of mobile telephones and valuables, as well as the keys to the vehicle.

It is reported that the man and the woman sustained multiple lacerations during the attack.

The Laborie attack occurred at about 2 am on Sunday, June 26, 2016.
