Negotiations between the Management of Ferrands Food Products Ltd and the National Workers Union (NWU) began Tuesday June 28, 2016.
The talks which were held at the Board Room of the Saint Lucia Employers Federation (SLEF) dealt with a thirty-one (31) point Memorandum of Proposals submitted on behalf of workers employed with the company. The issues at stake are a regime of fringe benefits and an overhaul of the existing pay structure.
The National Workers Union and Ferrands Food Products Ltd have agreed to work assiduously to complete these negotiations within a reasonable period.
The company was represented by Mr. Claudius Quashie and Ms. Donna Caseram, while the NWU was represented by Mr. Johann Harewood and Mrs. Michelle Phillips.
