Press Release:– There was plenty of intrigue and excitement as matches continued in the SLFA Inc. Scotts Sports and Awards Club Championship under the theme Lets Kick Covid Out.
Over at the Technical Centre in Grande Riviere, in Second Division action, the National Under 20 hammered New Generations 8 – 2, with prolific goal scorer Keegan Caul continuing his assault on opposition teams as he netted five goals in the 9th, 28th, 32nd, 87th and 90th minute.
This takes his tally to 9 goals in two matches
Indeed it was a comprehensive team effort as the other three goals were shared by Dahmanni Berthier 81st, Sherquan Nelson 87th and Donnell Preville in the 2nd minute of adding on time.
Yanic Noel in the 12th and 38th minute scored for new Generation.
In the other game played at the venue, Togetherness Youth downed Lancers 1 – 0 with a goal by Larry Harper in the 69th minute.
Across at the Anse La Raye Playing Field in the first of another double header, RV Juniors suffered their third loss of the championship in as many matches as they were defeated by Bays 2 – 1.
Nick Longville scored a brace for the winners while the consistent Shervon Eleuthere pulled one back for RV Juniors.
Despite T Valley’s mounting pressure they nevertheless succumbed to Diamond Ballers 2 – 1, who got their goals from Zenedine Theophile and Doneal Lionel.
