Four Injured In Babonneau Motor Vehicle Accident

Four people were injured after two vehicles collided head on in Babonneau Sunday, emergency officials say.

According to the officials, the accident occurred near the Cacoa, Babonneau junction.

The Saint Lucia Fire Service said it received a distress call about 3:40 p.m.

A senior fire service official told St Lucia Times that  the four injured individuals were transported to hospital by ambulances from the Babonneau and Gros Islet fire stations.

The official said one of the victims appeared to have sustained serious injuries.

He said the other injuries appeared to be minor.
