Gros Islet MP Lenard Montoute has made a contribution of school supplies, bursaries and free back to school haircuts to students, it has been announced.
“As a parent and also a former teacher, I fully appreciate the challenges which parents and students face in preparing for the new School year,” he wrote on his official Facebook page Saturday.
“My contribution of school supplies, bursaries and FREE back to school haircuts and hair styles for students are just a few of the initiatives that we have implemented to help ease some of this pressure,” Montoute disclosed.
He announced that on Saturday free haircuts were being provided in the Monchy Human Resource Development Centre.
“Tomorrow, you can bring your sons for their FREE Haircuts in Grande Riviere – next to ICT Centre (Grande Riviere junction) and the Gros Islet Town Square- Next to my constituency office,” Montoute, who is Minister for Equity, Social Justice, Local Government and Empowerment, said.

Schools reopen on Monday.
