Guibion Ferdinand Alerts Facebook Friends To Scam

Opposition Senator Guibion Ferdinand has alerted his Facebook friends to a scam involving messages purporting to originate from his page.

In a September 5, 2019 post on the official Facebook page of the opposition Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP), Ferdinand said he has been reliably informed that several persons are receiving the messages.

“These messages appear to be offering and soliciting assistance for various causes,” he disclosed.

“Please be informed that these messages are NOT from me and that they should be ignored, since I would never engage in such activity,” the opposition official explained.

“I have reported the matter to Facebook and will endeavor to address it,” Ferdinand stated.
