A wanted man dressed up as a woman to evade Guyana police is now in custody.
According to local law enforcement officers, investigators on the East Bank of Demerara arrested 30-year-old Shawn Bobb at Helena #1, Mahaica, Saturday evening.
Bobb, fully clothed as a woman complete with makeup and a wig on his head, jumped through the window of a house but failed to escape.
Guyana police said the suspect is currently under police guard at the Georgetown Hospital where he is receiving medical attention.
On Friday, police had issued a wanted bulletin for Bobb for the stabbing of his 19-year-old stepson Isaiah Edwards on January 26.
The youngster succumbed the day after.
According to reports, the deceased had intervened in an altercation between his mother and the suspect.
The mother also sustained injuries due to the domestic incident.
